Naliat Nambaziira who worked with the WBS TV news team before the station closed down has died.
Naliat passed away due to over bleeding days after giving birth to a beautiful baby girl.
Everything seemed under control until she went for a medical procedure where she passed on.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Douglas Lwanga’s Purple pary is on tonight in Jinja.
The event which will also double as a celebration for NBS TV’s 10 years of service in Uganda is going to take place at Transafrica.
Many artistes are expected to turn up and entertain music lovers in Jinja tonight.
Organizer Douglas who has been in the area since Friday has been doing live links on NBS TV, Baba and Sanyuka about the party that is expected to have a massive number of revelers.

Nuliat Nambaziira formerly of WBS TV news team has been laid to rest after she passed on following birth complications.
Nuliat has been buried in Kirimya, Masaka.
She passed on following over bleeding that went on days after she had given birth to a baby girl from IHK hospital. She has left behind three children including the newly born baby girl.

Tugende mukikade concert season two happens tonight with all the oldies playing non stop from the musicians you love at Kampala Serena Hotel.
Last minute tickets are going out at 100k as right now according to the organiser of the show Kalungi Patrick.
Revelers can expect music from Joanita Kawalya and Sophie Gombya. Other entertainers at the show with old ballads that have stood the test of time include; Afrigo band, Sophie and Sam Gombya, Eddie Yahweh, Fred Sebatta, Chance Nalubega to mention but a few.
Speaking about the show, Joanita Kawalya, a member of the Afrigo Band, the longest-lasting musical band in Uganda told us that there will be a lot to see especially for the younger generation that didn’t get a chance to enjoy old Ugandan music.
She said; ‘The show will have a lot of these that many have not seen. From the music to the fashion and ambiance we shall take you back in time. It is the only day when you can see someone who has more years than you and knows more than you about music so that you can learn from them. I call upon everyone to come and see their artistes that they used to enjoy.’

Following his unfortunate untimely death, many artistes have come out to redo Mowzey Radio’s songs. However, the late singer’s lawyers have come out strongly to warn against redoing his songs as this will evoke copyright law against them.
In a statement to media and musicians, Mowzey Radio’s lawyers Katende, Ssempebwa and co advocates, warned against people who are redoing his songs come of which were unreleased. They also warned media against using the songs on their stations.
The statement also went on to say that anyone who does contrary will be taken on in court.

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was in intensive care after emergency surgery for a brain hemorrhage on Saturday amid an outpouring of affection and get-well messages from across football.
Since retiring from United after almost 27 years in charge in 2013, the 76-year-old Ferguson has continued to attend matches at Old Trafford and participate in coaching initiatives.
“Sir Alex Ferguson has undergone emergency surgery today for a brain hemorrhage,” United said in a statement. “The procedure has gone very well but he needs a period of intensive care to optimize his recovery. His family request privacy in this matter.”

Facebook management seems to have either unpublished or deleted Tom Voltaire Okwalinga’s page.
The popular Social Media critic, Tom Voltaire Okwalinga (TVO), who’s identity has been a mystery to the Ugandan government may not be posting in a long time unless he opens a new page on the Social Network.
TVO is known for making offending posts against Museveni and his government.
In 2016, government through Mr Fred Muwema, a lawyer wrote to Facebook to delete the page, a request that was never granted.

Following some misunderstandings with their father, the family reached a unanimous decision to chase the deceased away from his home prompting him to relocate to his ancestral home in Masulita two years back.
The hunger for more riches forced the family members to later hack a plan on how to end his life so that they could own all his properties.

In a properly hatched plan the deceased received a call from his children Lilian Najuma and Gideon Kaya (all suspects) he had fathered with his wife, a one Janet Namugenyi Katende (suspect) saying they needed to visit and bond with him after a very long time to which he agreed.
On the fateful day of 27th April 2018, the four visited his home, clobbered him with a wielding stick, killing him instantly.
They later carried the deceased body in a car boot and took it to Rutete village Kasangati Sub county in Wakiso where they dumped it in a pit latrine.
However, some neighbors who claimed to have suspected some foul play and to have heard him screaming for help and crying as they beat him to death, told Police that his children had a hand in his murder, prompting officers to arrest them all.

The arrested family members upon questioning confessed to having conspired and committed the murder and were able to help police in reconstructing the scene of murder.
A joint effort by the Flying squad, Crime Investigation Department, Fire Brigade and rescue services, together with area police managed to exhume the body of the deceased from the pit latrine where he had been dumped for a week.
The body has been taken to Mulago Mortuary for post mortem.
The Flying Squad Commander ACP Herbert Muhangi has warned the residents who intended to storm and demolish the houses of the suspects that they would also be charged with malicious damage.
ACP Muhangi called upon the residents to stay calm and maintain neighborhood watch during this sad period as investigations are being finalized.
