Men: Here are 5 ways to take care of your manhood

$

man sadTaking good care of your penis will not only keep it clean, it will also prevent your likelihood of testicular cancer and other penis-related issues.

A medical doctor shares a few tips that should help you.

1. Clean up: Your penis should be cleaned daily. So should your bottom and the area in between, called the perineum. Use a mild soap as these areas can be sensitive.

2. Examine yourself: It is not just women who need to get their breasts check to prevent cancer.  Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men. For this reason, every week you should examine each testis (the plural is testes) in turn between your finger and thumb by rolling the skin over them. The most common symptom is a lump of any size but you should book an appointment with your doctor if you have any new feelings in the scrotal area.

3. Erection problems: Erectile dysfunction, or impotence, is unfortunately common from middle age onwards and it’s caused by a narrowing of the blood vessels that pump blood to create and maintain an erection. This narrowing may occur for a number of reasons but high blood pressure, diabetes and smoking are high on the list. Giving up smoking seems like a no-brainer, and maintaining a healthy body weight and undertaking regular exercise reduce your risk of developing high blood pressure and diabetes.

4. Protect from STIs: Sexually Transmitted Infections are invisible and often give no symptoms for many years so you won’t know if you’ve just passed one on, so you should always wear a condom. They significantly reduce the risk of the transmission of STIs.

5. Make good use of your penis: Make ejaculation part of your daily routine. Here’s why: a large Harvard study of nearly 30,000 men found the risk of prostate cancer was 33 per cent lower in men who’d ejaculated at least 21 times per month, compared to those who ejaculated only 4-7 times per month. This included ejaculations during sex, masturbation and, um, “nocturnal emissions”.

11 Reasons he hasn’t asked you out yet

Uganda dating, Sex life, Sex, Relationships

1. He’s clueless. Entertain the notion that he has no idea asking you out is anything but laughable. He might think you’re out of his league or not interested. He might never have thought of you “that way” but he totally could think of you “that way” if he had a little nudge.

You could be one of those women where, five years later, while he’s shopping over in the fruit aisle picking out whatever the latest superfruit of 2021 is (I think it’s going to be grapes, watch out for grapes) and he’s like, “Oh, shit. She had a thing for me.” But there’s an alternate splinter universe in which you are both buying grapes together, because you’re married. Maybe drop a thinly veiled hint or two his way if you’re really vibin’ on this future.

2. He just wants to be friends. Believe it or not, sometimes men and women can be friends, and it’s just like, whatever.

3. He’s way too nervous. He might want to ask you out, but he’s scared of rejection or screwing up your friendship, and he’s just playing it safe. So safe, he’s not even going to take the risk.

4. He’s waiting to get confirmation that you’ll say “yes.” He’s hoping you’ll both have one too many drinks and confess your love, or a series of zany events will bring you two together, rom-com style.

5. He’s also sort of seeing someone else.  He might be casually seeing a few people right now.

6. He’s crazy-busy. He might have a big project at work, or a he’s taking a year off to backpack through Europe, and he doesn’t want to start anything serious until after he comes back.

7. He’s keeping you on the back burner. He likes you … enough. But he wants to see how things pan out with someone else first. And no one wants to know they’re a “second choice” so he’s just stringing you along for as long as he can.

8. He’s a sociopath. He just likes stringing you along because he’s controlling and manipulative. It’s probably (hopefully) not this one, but it’s certainly possible.

9. His friends talked him out of it. For whatever reason, he’s into you but his friends have given him pause. They probably introduced some weird, arbitrary, but mind-blowing “rule” into his life that he’s now following. So he thinks he needs to wait X amount of time or establish Y amount of contact.

10. He’s got a thing for one of your friends … or maybe he had a thing. It’s possible you’ve got a few mutual friends and he just doesn’t want to complicate things.

11. One of his friends called “dibs.” The idea of calling dibs on a human sounds kind of gross, but it’s really a guy’s way of saying, “Hey, I like this girl a lot but I can tell she likes you … can I please have a shot at wooing her?” Except way less formal.

Here Is What You Did Not Know About Rapper Nemesis.

Keya Nemesis

Here is what you did not know about Rapper Nemesis as narrated by the rapper himself.

My real name is Keya Nicholas Anthony.  I started rapping at the age of ten to impress a girl in my English class.

The first song I learnt how to rap along to was Eminem’s “The Real Slim Shady”. I got hooked on it. And started to compete with my colleagues at school.

I realised that I had a knack for witty lines and decided to start writing my own lyrics by the time I was 11. When I joined secondary school, I was 12 and got initiated in a rap group that called themselves the death icon’s.

I had my first stage performance with them and got booed for the first and last time in my career. At the time I was obsessed with reading Dracula comic’s and dubbed myself “Lil drac”. I taught myself how to freestyle after my shaming on stage and in the second term of my Form 1 went head to head with the best rappers at my school. I emerged the best from the age of 12 upto when I left the school at the age of 17 after my Form 6.

I got my monicker NEMESIS after I defeated a rapper at MUK campus called Nemesis Fixx when I was 16. I then went on to win a couple of competitions:

1. De bwazz
2. Buzz (2012)
3. High school talent search
4. Sabrina battle challenge (where I stood undefeated against all rappers regardless of age or language used in rapping).

Sabrina battle challenge is where I met GNL Zamba who approached me with the offer to join Baboon Forest. And lyrical G who advised me to compete in the “Nokia Dont Break The Beat” freestyle challenge.

I won the “Nokia Dont Break The Beat” competition beating about 300 contestants that had auditioned and flew to Kenya to represent Uganda for a final showdown against Tanzania’s best and Kenya’s best. I emerged 2nd behind a Kenyan victor who in my opinion was cheated for.

I joined South Cyde studios with Imon Pro and made a couple of records before joining Baboon fFrest under GNL Zamba.

In March 2014, I battled Ruyonga and the audience applauded me to retain my crown as the undisputed, undefeated battle rap champion in Uganda.

I met up with Nase at Portbell drive and recorded a lot of time transcending songs. This is where I met with GMG CEO and got signed to the label.

I am ecstatic about my future with GMG and I thank everyone that has had a hand in my career, notably, GNL Zamba, Lyrical G, Capital Ken, Imon Pro, Nase Avatar, Cynthia Kimula and so many others I can’t name.

I also thank the girl who at the age of 10 made me want to rap to impress her. She knows who she is.

The Rotary Family Health Days are a great opportunity for MTN Uganda to give back to our communities. We believe our contribution to this noble cause will go a long way in changing the lives of many communities where Rotary Uganda will be setting up the different camps,” Gouldie said.

MTN also encourage everyone to observe the days between 29th April and 7th May 2016, to get free medication from the Rotary camps that will be equipped with free, quality and professional medical care.

The medical camps will offer both specialized and general services in areas of cancer screening (cervical and breast); child immunization and nutrition; family planning and maternal health; HIV/AIDS counselling and testing; dental services; optical and many other common community health concerns.

Over 82 camps will be set up all over the country and these will be deployed with 23 medical personnel from 10 health centres. There will be a team of 5 experts from USA, Canada, India and Uganda that will be deployed at Laaro Health Centre IV to specifically attend to maternal and child health issues.

However, Weasel is still optimistic their concert will be a success because he believes that their “real” fans will show up for the concert despite the boycott.

The Omwana Wa Bandi concert will take place on 13th May at Hotel Africana.

And rather fittingly the garment is from the aptly named Hot Miami Styles.

The model took the sizzling selfies which show she’s not just a pretty face.

10 Things Ladies Do To Avoid Sex When They Visit Men

$

couple 8There is a reaction to every action; most ladies are naturally cautious and it would be a lie to think most of them do not think or assume men would want to sleep with them the very first time they visit them.

As a result of this, women also devise methods that would protect them as much as possible so the guys would not sleep with them on the first date.

Having s*x may be inevitable in that relationship at the long run, but women are able to prolong the abstinence for as long as possible when they do take certain steps.

Find below some of the things ladies do when they do not want a guy to sleep with them anytime they go visit them:

1. Keeping the door opened

Ladies sometimes are on the defensive side and ask men to open the door to their rooms so everyone could see what is happening in the room. To an extent, ladies feel comfortable this way as they know it is near impossible for the guys to attempt being funny or try to have s*x with them with the door wide opened.

2. Wearing tight clothes

Another thing ladies do when they go visit men in their houses is to wear tight clothes that have restrictions. It would be pretty difficult getting them out of the cloth and it would give them enough time to allow sanity creep back in peradventure they got carried away.

3. Red flag shows up

Ladies know that men do not like hearing the fact that the red flag is on. Most men would be irritated seeing the blood bank of the girls when they want to sleep with them. It is a natural turn off for men so ladies use it as a weapon and say they are on. Some even go on to wear pads just to prove it is real.

4. They would have a friend with them

Ladies do not like visiting men for the first time alone. They would rather go with one or two friends that would help them break the tension that could be around the place. Having one or two other girls in the room apart from the main girl visiting would spoil the show for the men. Ladies can be sure nothing would happen then.

5. They avoid sitting on the bed

Many ladies avoid sitting on the bed when they visit men as they feel they are falling into a trap. The bed makes them more cautious and to avoid being tempted or lured into doing something they do not want to do at that moment, they would rather sit on the chair.

6. They receive calls at intervals

When ladies feel like they have stayed long enough in a place, they start to receive calls that would make the guys feel they need to be on their way. Some even become apologetic on the phone to make the guy feel they have to go somewhere immediately. In some cases, girls put their friends up to this and make them call them at intervals just to prevent the guy from launching his s*x idea on them.

7. They focus on something

Another thing ladies do when visiting guys in their houses is to concentrate on doing a particular thing. Some place all their attention on books while some watch movies and do not give the guys the time to want to get personal with them.

8. List of house chores

Ladies avoid having s*x with men they visit by coming up with the excuse of leaving for their own house. Usually, the guy would try to persuade them and they would come up with the annoying list of things they need to do at home before their parents or guardians get back.

9. Stories that touch the heart

Sometimes, ladies cook up all sorts of stories that would make men pity them; they talk about how they have suffered one or two forms of abuse in their previous relationships.  They act traumatized and this would naturally throw the men off balance. It would after all be inappropriate for the guys to want to try anything funny after they have heard their heart touching tales.

10. They act edgy

Sometimes, ladies deliberately put up an edgy front when they visit men in their houses. They act uncomfortable and would be cold towards the guy till they leave. Men sense their defense and aloofness and would rather leave them alone till they adjust.

21 Senseless things women always cry about

$

woman 3

Here are 21 things you have probably cried about if you’re a woman. It doesn’t make sense, but to us, it’s totally valid.

1. Sad movies. Happy movies. Movies

I’ll just get this one out of the way. There’s nothing like a heart-wrenching plot or an amazing story of love or endurance that makes the tears start to flow.

2. Rumentating on something that was said or fought about–a week ago

Have you ever hurt someone’s feelings unintentionally and now you just can’t forget about it? Me too.

3. Sweet gestures

Unexpected flowers, your husband cleaning the kitchen because he knew you had a hard day with the kids, your neighbor leaving cookies at your door with a kind note. It’s just all too sweet to handle.

4. Wedding and funerals

Without fail.

5. Saying goodbye at airports

There’s something about airports that make women (and probably even some men) all emotional. Goodbyes are tough for women who often make family and friends top priority.

6. Anger

Have you ever been so angry that you cry? A lot of women report that instead of yelling or retaliating, tears tend to be the first response.

7. Frustration

Trying, trying, and failing, whether at work or at home, tend to bring on the tears. Although women tend to be fighters and won’t settle until a job is well done, the process can be frustrating and emotional.

8. Taking a walk down memory lane

Looking at old pictures, watching home videos, or talking about past memories, especially with those who have moved away or who have since passed, can be quite emotional.

9. Surprises

Happy surprises, no matter how small, can trigger the waterworks. But rest assured, men out there, chances are she is super happy about her surprise and this is just the natural reaction.

10. Commercials

Even if it’s not the commercial’s intent to be sad, women can often find something sweet, sad or symbolic that brings on the emotions. For example, a dad sharing his cheerios with his adorable little girl, or a puppy trying to find his horse friend. The options are endless.

11. Songs

A lot of women connect songs with certain moments or stages in their lives.

12. Being sick

Women don’t like to be down and out because there’s too much to do. This can include the kids, the job, the house, the endless list of to-dos. So when you are not feeling good on top of everything else makes us all emotional.

13. Your kids being all cute

Sometimes you watch your kids play and BAM. You’re crying that they won’t be little forever and that they are just so cute and perfect.

14. Favorite shirt shrinks in the dryer

It happens, and it’s terrible.

15. Gaining weight

This is a biggie for us women, who try hard to keep up our shape and eat well, even when all the odds are against us. And sometimes it just makes us cry.

16. Death of a favorite character

Whether it’s in a book or on TV, we tend to get attached to our favorite characters. When they die, there’s bound to be tears.

17. Being overly tired

Life throws a whole lot our way, and sometimes the exhaustion catches up.

18. Being worried about not being a good enough mom

You worry about your kids all the time and you want to be the best mom to those little rug rats. And sometimes, you probably break down just thinking about it.

19. A mindless thing a spouse says

Sometimes guys can say “insensitive” things that are completely warped and misunderstood when a woman hears it. And when our feelings are really hurt, we’ll get emotional and let you know.

20. Watching people help one another

My husband and I love the show “What would you do?” on ABC. Without fail, I find myself crying at the selflessness and generosity of humanity.

21. Missing home

Whether you live far away or have loved ones who live far, the sadness of being away from those you love can be difficult, even more so for women.

9 Things You Must Do To Never Get Played By Men

$

Couple1

The only way to find love is to date with an open heart.

But I know what you’ve been through.

You’re tired of investing time and energy in the wrong men, only to end up frustrated, hurt, and empty-handed again and again. You’ve worked hard to finally find peace and a sense of happiness in your life. And there’s no way you’re going to let someone come into your life and mess it all up.

And yet … you don’t want to give up on LOVE. You want to meet the RIGHT man — someone who makes you feel challenged, inspired and adored. But you’re scared.

After everything you’ve been through, you’re not sure how to date without getting played or wasting valuable time.

How do you put yourself “out there” and open up to love, but also protect your heart and the peace you’ve worked so hard to cultivate in your life?

The answer? Openness coupled with boundaries. Yes, it’s possible!

Here are 9 things you can do to make sure it’s safe to open your heart when you’re dating:

1. Avoid guys with obviously low self-esteem

If he doesn’t love and value himself, he probably can’t love and value you in a healthy way.

Find someone with high self-esteem. This is so important.

2. Make sure his values regarding family and relationships match yours

Take a close look at the life he has created. Does he have healthy long-lasting relationships with friends and family? Does he have his finances and responsibilities in order?

Does he have a good relationship with the ex and kids? Make sure his life is running smoothly before you invite him into yours.

3. Don’t accept his bad behavior

Think about the behaviors that hurt you in past relationships, and write them down. Was your ex passive-aggressive, negative, critical, non-communicative, or cold?

If your current beau is repeating some of the same behaviors, ask him to stop. If he can’t (or won’t), move on. You deserve to be treated beautifully.

4. Pay attention to what he DOES (not what he SAYS)

His actions show that he cares about you, more so than his words.

Does he make time for you and stay connected when he’s not with you? Does he make promises and then follow through?

A boyfriend who’s thoughtful, caring, generous, consistent, and kind will someday be a husband who’s thoughtful, caring, generous, consistent, and kind.

5. Make sure he includes you in all aspects of his life

Over time, he should start to include you in every aspect of his life, without exception. He welcomes you in his home and office. He invites you to spend time with his friends and family. And he’s proud to show you off!

If he’s excited to have you in his life and wants to include you in every aspect of it, he’s a keeper.

6. Be very sure he’s INTO you

If a man’s into you, he’ll make you a priority. He’ll ask to spend time with you consistently, and he’ll tell you what he likes about you.

You won’t have to wonder how he feels or wait anxiously for his call.

Bottom line — if he’s into you, you’ll know it. And if he’s not, go find someone who is.

7. Advocate for yourself

If something is bothering you, tell him. If he dismisses your feelings or gets defensive, that’s a red flag.

Only date someone who’s able to assess his own behavior and make changes when necessary. Date a man who owns up to his mistakes and who values your feelings (and do the same for him).

8. Wait to have s*x (the right one will wait!)

S*x is awesome, and I’m all for it. But when you’re serious about finding “the one”, it’s a good idea to wait. Waiting until you’re in a relationship gives the two of you time to create emotional intimacy first, which is a smart strategy.

If the man you’re dating is genuinely interested in you, he’ll wait until you’re ready. If he’s more concerned about s*x and not you, then he doesn’t respect that boundary.

9. Make sure you feel relaxed and happy when you’re with him

If you feel stressed, anxious or have to walk on eggshells when you’re dating, something’s wrong. Trust your gut and keep track of how you feel. If there are more bad days than good ones, it might be time to move on.

When you’re in the RIGHT relationship, you’ll feel happy, relaxed and comfortable. I hear this from happy couples all the time!

With strong boundaries and high expectations, you’ll know when it’s safe to open your heart. And when you’re all in — when you’re authentic, generous, warm and loving — that’s when LOVE will show up. That’s when the magic will happen.

Ladies: 10 Reasons You Should Never Chase A Guy

$

couple flirting

Historically, men have always been the hunter-gatherers, while women stayed at home to do all the household chores. In other words, men did the pursuing while women were meant to do the hanging around.

Although such traditional views might seem out of place in today’s modern world, when it comes to dating it is exactly how things should remain: Men have an obligation to do all the pursuing, while women just need to wait for Prince Charming to turn up. It’s just basic chivalry, which is sadly a dying art.

Unfortunately, tables have turned in recent years, largely thanks to online dating and apps such as SnapChat. Rather than do all the hunting down themselves, men are now leaving it up to the women to put some effort in, too.

“I’m just gonna sit here playing my video games while y’all come at me.” In my experience, though – and the experience of many other women – relationships just don’t work out when women do the chasing. It’s surely not always because we’re bad at picking out the right guys. Maybe sometimes it’s because the guys don’t even want to be hunted down in the first place, and when we ask them out they think “guess it gives me something to do while my latest game downloads.”

In other words, we end up dating a man who isn’t in it for the long haul. Let’s take a look at 10 reasons why you must never chase a man.

1. He generally doesn’t want to be caught

I covered this point briefly in the intro, but I’m going to elaborate on it here. Look, if you have to chase down a man, it usually means that he’s got commitment issues and doesn’t actually want to be caught.

Sure, he might be absolutely gorgeous, and he might even have a wining personality, but you’re chasing him for a reason.

Any man who actually wants to be with you won’t need to be hunted down. Instead, they’ll come running towards you with open arms! And if you think you can change a committment-phobe into a man who is ready to settle down, you really should think again.

2. You become fixated

Chasing a man is not good for your mental health. It can make you feel anxious, and you start to feel paranoid that every little thing he says on social media is aimed at you. You even start analysing all his texts, and you play the “He Loves, He Loves Me Not” game.

3. It can be humiliating

Maybe there is one guy you’ve been chasing for a few months now. You’ve made it obvious everywhere you go that you want him. You’ve constantly posted links to his Facebook wall, retweeted all his lame tweets, messaged him, texted him, called him up, “accidentally” bumped into him and so on. Everyone knows you’re chasing this guy, from your mom and closest friends to his Facebook friend’s who have never met you. For this reason, it’s actually starting to get a bit humiliating now because he’s clearly not responding. Give up the ghost and find a man who actually wants you.

4. You become distracted

When you’re chasing a man, this tends to become the focal point of your life. It’s pretty stressful and time-consuming, after all. As such, everything else becomes difficult. It gets hard to concentrate at work, at home or at school. All other priorities recede into the distance and your life effectively becomes temporarily put on hold. And for what?

5. You are missing out on other guys

One of the reasons we chase down men is because we’re deeply attracted to them. But as soon as it becomes clear that the attraction isn’t what you’d call mutual, it’s important that you realise when it’s time to call it quits. Using up all your precious time and energy on just one guy who’s evading you means that you’re likely missing out on lots of other top guys who want you. Once you stop chasing a lost cause, you’re giving yourself a chance to be caught by other men who are interested in you. Take yourself out of the race, take a breather and see what else is out there.

6. You become jealous

You want this guy and you’ve been spending lots of months chasing him down. Only, there’s now another girl on the scene who’s been posting on his Facebook wall quite a lot recently. You’ve got an enemy (an attractive one) and you’re now jealous and more distracted than ever before.

7. Even if you catch him, it doesn’t mean much

Okay, so you’ve finally convince him that you’re worth a shot. You’ve managed to capture his body and he’s agreed to spend some time with you. You’ve won. Yay! Um.

Not quite.

See, while you might well have caught his body, it doesn’t mean that you’ve ensnared his heart. They can be there with you physically, but their spirit and mind can still be a million miles away. Although he’s coming out for dinner with you, his mind might still be on other questions:

“What am I doing here?”
“How do I get out of this?”
“I can’t believe I managed to let her talk me into coming here tonight.”

It’s important to remember that guys who you have to chase tend to be free spirits, which means they’re really hard to keep hold of. Don’t believe for one minute that you’ve won just because you’re on a date with him.

8. You’ll feel like a failure

Ultimately, you won’t succeed in your pursuit. As such, you will likely feel like a failure after all those months of pointless chasing. He still doesn’t like you – and this can really hurt your self-esteem. It’s better to give up as early as possible and move onto a guy who does appreciate you. Why harm yourself like this? It isn’t worth it!

9. He’s probably not a great guy

Great guys don’t require any chasing. They’re totally upfront and open with you, and they’re always available if you need them. They don’t go hiding, and they certainly don’t let a lady wear herself out through hunting him down. If a good guy wants to be with you, he will tell you. If he doesn’t, he’ll keep stringing you along to see where this charade is going to end up.

10. It’ll be one sided anyway

Even if you do manage to convince him to go out with you, do you really think it’s going to be anything other than one-sided? When you want to go out for a romantic dinner tonight, he’ll be watching football with the boys. When you want him to meet your parents, he’ll have band practice. He’s a free spirit who lives life his way.

Hard Times: How One of Uganda’s Richest Men Is Going Bankrupt?

The economy is biting but some people are feeling the impact more than others. One of those is a man who once made it to the Forbes list of the richest men in Uganda.

It all started when this rich man begun to turn down all invites to various inspirational talks that he’d previously graced. He then begun to disappear slowly from the public and was more common in Kenya where he owns a home than in Uganda where his businesses are located.

One of his major businesses was the critical mass for the cycle of doom he’s experienced. This business was selling a product that brought in money due to certain temporary conditions. All of a sudden, those conditions disappeared and the buyers no longer needed this product.

Then came the many loans he’d borrowed from banks which he’s now failed to pay. As a result, the banks have been silently attaching some of his property. However, he’s been a little quicker to sell them off by himself in order to raise money and clear the loans. But this too has not helped a lot.

We have further learned that this rich man is now counting on his various rich friends to bail him out but now has been willing to commit themselves to his cause.

At one of his companies, workers have gone unpaid and some have been laid off as a cost-cutting measures. “This is his toughest moment ever, he even laid off his big advisory team,” says a secretary in his office.

But who is this rich man? BigEye.ug has chosen to keep his name anonymous. As a media company we believe failed entrepreneurs should be treated like failed soldiers and should be seen as heroes who have died in the battle field.

We hope this rich man can find his balance as soon as possible.
