Ace musicians, “Danfo Drivers” have called out Tekno for sampling a part of their song without their approval.
The musicians in the early 2000s made a lot of hit songs, including ‘Jogodo.’
According to them, Tekno stole a piece of their song in one of his new singles titled, ‘Jogodo’.
Danfo Drivers in an interview with Wazobia TV revealed that they were not pleased with Tekno’s action and promised to take it on him if they see him.
Speaking in pidgin English, they said: “Tekno dey make us vex. You know why we dey vex? You just come dey carry person music dey go dey sing.
“Why Tekno go do that kain thing. E no good.
“If you wan do something, you go call the people dem wey get am, tell them say see wetin I wan do. We will now plan and do it.
“Tekno dey owe us money. If I catch am, Tekno no go like me o.”

Musician Abdul Mulasi has predicted the end of the fame of comedian Taata Sam real names Robert Sande.
According to the long forgotten raggga singer, Taata Sam is overrated and only popular on the internet and his end is coming soon.
The two started fighting after Abdul contracted Taata Sam to do shows for him and later dragged him to Police for not showing up at most of the shows.
According to Taata Sam, Abdul didn’t pay him for 6 out of 13 shows and he saw no reason to perform.
In response, Abdul Mulasi had this to say; ‘I want to assure Taata Sam. You will never be on the level that I am on. You will never achieve the things I have achieved. You may be big on Whatsapp or Social Media but that doesn’t mean anything in this industry.’
‘I tell all upcoming artistes to stop thinking that they are big. Whenever I put him on a poster we get cursed people don’t come for shows and he still thinks he is a big deal. I thought he sales but people don’t like him and people don’t come. He is known by people who have smartphones only. What he talked about with manager is not my business he has to make sure he follows up and gets his money. He has fake comedy and he will fall soon. He cannot be on my level and should stop accusing me of such things,’ the singer added.
Taata Sam has vowed never to work with Abdul Mulasi following their beef where the comedian claims that he was not paid thanks to the singer. The two cannot be in the same place at the moment until their beef is resolved.

Last week was a terrible one for local singer Chris Evans Kaweesi who was attacked and robbed before he was clobbered and his car taken away from him. Although his car was later recovered, he has been in and out of hospital treating wounds that he got from the incident.
However, all is good now and the singer who was given advice to rest by doctors is now out of dancer and can go back on stage.
‘I will be hitting the stage again this Saturday. The doctors have told me that I am now okay to go on with my shows.’

Mr Eazi has announced the signing of a licensing deal with international platform, Columbia Records UK.
Mr Eazi has penned a new international deal and this time, it is for the licensing of his works with Columbia Records, UK.
The singer has enjoyed a successful career since the release of his Accra to Lagos EP, and recently announced that he will be releasing his follow-up project titled ‘Lagos To London’ with a tentative date of May 23, 2018.
Apart from recording songs, he has also been signing deals internationally. Last month, he signed a record deal with Mad Decent, a record label owned by DJ Diplo of Major Lazer.
He has now announced that he has secured a licensing deal with Columbia Records UK.
Taking to his Instagram page, the singer posted;

Pop sensation, Davido was present in a gathering that paraded world leaders at the event of the inauguration of Sierra Leone’s new president, Julius Maada Bio.
The event which was held over the weekend witnessed the presence of Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Liberia’s President, George Weah and other notable world leaders.
Nigerian superstar, Davido was also invited to come thrill the guests at the special occasion.
The singer immediately took to his Instagram page to thank the new president and profess his excitement at the opportunity.

In the wake of celebrities who have gotten saved and gone back to the secular world at Kayanja’s church, Pastor Wilson Bugembe has stung his counterpart for playing Jesus.
Speaking about attracting celebs to church, Bugembe said that most pastors make the mistake of playing Jesus and trying to change the celebs instead of dedicating them to God.
Bugembe said that he has always found the celebs where they are instead of forcing them into Church as they will always go back to their old ways.
‘I go to Clubs, I find the DJs playing music and even ask to pray for them and they accept. But these Pastors who are taking them to their churches need to stop. It is not about forcing them into church, they cannot do that. You just have to pray for them and leave everything to God. Don’t force them to be in church with you from Monday to Monday’ Wilson Bugembe said while reacting to the fact that Ronald Mayinja got saved at Robert Kayanja’s church recently.

The two East African celebrities on Monday, May 14, badly embarrassed a social media user who had claimed the two rich ladies have been borrowing each others’ clothes, in a bid to slay on Instagram.
The critic, disguising herself as a fan had shared a side to side photo of the the two lasses wearing the same dress, and claimed that Zari had borrowed it from Vera, since the latter had been seen with it before.

Former KCCA player, Allan Kateregga who now plays for Cape Town City – South Africa is in the country for national duty.
The left-footed playmaker and winger today revealed to fans why he is called the dancing rasta.
Speaking in an interview, Kateregga said that he got the nickname dancing rasta because he makes people dance.
‘It is not about my hair entirely. It is also about the fact that I make people dance when I get the ball on the pitch. I dribble through players and leave them dancing. That is why I am called the dancing rasta.’
Allan Kateregga is the second Ugandan player currently in the ABSA Premiership after Uganda Cranes goalkeeper and skipper Denis Masinde Onyango who is at Mamelodi Sundowns. Last Sunday, top comedian Salvado Idringi premiered his brand new TV show the first of it’s kind by Ugandans, to get the next big comedian.
The man from Ombokolo as he has been christened by fans, launched the new show called The Comic on NBS TV leaving the Ugandan public to comment at the end of the first episode.
Key among the comments was one made by comedian, Alex Muhangi who said that not enough was done to refine the contestants before they got on air. This raised beef concerns among fans of Salvado Idringi who said that Muhangi was hating on their star.
Speaking about the comment, Muhangi said that he has nothing but love for Salvado and loves him like his own brother.
‘People want to talk all the time they are idol. Journalists are wasting their degrees. He is like my brother. The young comedians need some training before they appear on TV. It is not about telling stories but making jokes out of the stories. The comment I made doesn’t mean I have a problem with Salvado. He always comes to my comedy show every week anyway so we are cool. Before doing auditions they need to show the young comedians how to behave on TV. It is not like singing competitions where people get on stage and show off their voice, this is different. They need to be trained. I gave a positive comment not a bad one,’ Muhangi defended himself.
The Comic is aimed at discovering the next breed of comedians in Uganda. It should be remembered that Salvado Idringi, Pablo and Daniel Omara were discovered 10 years ago in a similar competition run by Multichoice.

If there’s one thing people love to blame their problems on, it’s social media. Social media makes us bad at holding conversations or paying attention to our partners. Social media makes us spill our dating drama and constantly compare ourselves to other couples. But the thing is, an app on its own – while arguably addicting – is neutral. It can’t “make” you do anything.
Still, opening up Instagram all the time and being bombarded with positive images of everyone else’s lives can make you feel like the app is designed solely to make you insecure about yourself and your own relationship. “Blaming it on the technology means you don’t have to exercise self-control,” says Dr. Pamela Rutledge, Director at the Media Psychology Research Center. The thing is, being on Instagram isn’t too different from being at a high school reunion, where everyone mingles and boasts about their accomplishments, all attempting to do it tastefully. “We think with social media that there are all these new rules, but if you take out the word ‘social media’ and describe behaviors, it’s much easier to see what’s going on,” says Rutledge.
When it comes to relationships, it’s easy for not-great habits to become even more glaringly obvious with Instagram. Here are nine Instagram mistakes couples should look out for:
Everyone is annoyed by at least one couple who almost exclusively posts about their relationship and nothing else. “Instagram is not about person-to-person communication – it’s about person-to-world communication,” says Dr. Rutledge. “Evidence suggests that people who overshare romantic relationships end up with their friends feeling less friendly toward them.” It comes off like you don’t care about anything else but your partner, which can definitely alienate your friends.
If you just got a boyfriend, or engaged, or married, or traveled somewhere cool together, people will probably smash that like button. But couple selfie after couple selfie and nothing else will likely make your followers drop off, either from boredom or annoyance.
Publicly going on and on about how great your partner is and how in love you are can be a sign of anxious attachment, where you want the relationship to remain highly visible so that it feels extra solid and un-breakup-able. But also, again, it can be really irritating to the people who have to tune into a fresh #MCM essay every week.
“It would be exactly the same thing as if you went to hang out with people and all they did was talk about each other and didn’t include you in anything,” says Dr. Rutledge. “Social media is a conversation. It’s putting something out there that other people care about.”
Even if you’re going out and doing fun things together, both of you whipping out your phones so you can put up your own 12-part stories of the same dinner can mean trouble down the line. Simply put: if you’re both in the habit of being on Instagram the whole time you’re on a date, you’re not actually talking to each other or connecting in a real way.
“If you’re in a one-on-one situation and you’re using a device to avoid a one-on-one situation, that indicates a problem,” says Dr. Rutledge. “It’s like going to a bar and watching the game every time.” It’s chill to take out your phone for a quick gram, but if the next 45 minutes are you both trying to think of captions, you’ll miss out on so much.
The only thing worse than both being on your phones and not talking to each other is just one of you being on Instagram. “If you’re watching a movie together and one of you is flipping through Instagram while the other person is viewing the movie as a shared activity, then the fact that [their partner] is using their phone is going to feel abandoning,” says Dr. Rutledge. “Giving someone your attention is the foundation of intimacy.”
TBH, this is a normal problem – we’ve all been there where we realize our partner was saying something important when we were too entranced by hedgehog videos to notice. The key is to talk about it and set ground rules about when you actually put your phone away.
I personally never trust a guy who has zero photos of him and his girlfriend together while she’s tagged him in countless couple selfies. It’s suss as hell for him to gram his grainy IPA bottle and never his partner – isn’t he more proud to date her than eat nachos on his couch? But there might be a reason for that reluctance: “People with avoidant attachments styles are less likely to want to share their romantic relationships online,” says Dr. Rutledge. “If intimacy and closeness are sometimes a challenge in a relationship, why would you want to post about it online?
Of course, labeling every man as an avoidant personality for not gramming you can be a bit much, especially if he could actually just be really shy. “A partner who doesn’t want to post a relationship in spite of prolific posting of other things may be be an introvert and uncomfortable posting about intimate things,” adds Dr. Rutledge. “The rule is this: if it bothers you, have a nonjudgmental and non-emotional conversation to understand why.”
Similarly, knowing your partner is *always* on Insta but never DMs you a funny meme or likes your photos can feel like you’re being subtly rejected, though it feels silly to make a fuss over not getting any heart-eyes emojis under your selfie.
But you’re entitled to feel a lil weird about it! “There’s a conversation needing to happen there,” advises Dr. Rutledge. “That’s the same as going to a party with a bunch of other people around you and ignoring your partner. We view attention as value and regard, so if you’re not giving that to someone who you say matters to you, then that’s a problem.” It just makes you wonder: what is your partner even doing on Insta if they never think to interact with you on it at all?
Dating when you still have photos up of an ex (who you’re not still friends with) can become unnecessarily complicated because people WILL wonder why you kept the pics. “You can’t control how anyone interprets anything online, which is why, when you’re posting publicly, you have to think about the receiver, not about yourself,” says Dr. Rutledge. “It’s much more likely that people will assume you’re still going out with someone or haven’t gotten over them if your page is littered with images of another person.”
If it was a mutual, we’re-better-as-friends kind of breakup, that can always be explained to your partner. But still having photos together with an ex you don’t like simply because you were embarrassed by the breakup at the time or didn’t want to look hurt will ultimately haunt you.
For starters: this isn’t shaming anyone who looks at their exes’ stories or feeds. We’ve all been there, drunk at 1AM and wanting to know if the guy who dumped us three years ago might be broadcasting a lame Friday night that makes you even happier you broke up. “It’s a natural instinct to support our own self-esteem – we don’t want to feel that we were not good enough,” says Dr. Rutledge. “So in some ways, people can be doing this to look for confirmation that they’re not missing out on something.
Of course, most people only gram the brag-worthy things that happen to them, so it’s easy to fall into resentment when you see your ex vacationing with someone new, even if you’re digging your own relationship.”It’s important to remember that you’re not looking at real life and if you start comparing yourself, other than just satisfying curiosity, and it’s dampening your mood, that’s when you pull the plug,” says Rutledge.
Sometimes, though, what seems like a “mistake” just boils down to a misunderstanding between two people. For instance, some people don’t mind if their partner likes photos of bikini-clad Kardashian; others are put off by it. The problem starts when you each do things on Instagram that ruffle the other person but never address it.
“The real crux of this is that relationships take two people and therefore, being honest and upfront about posting styles in a relationship is important,” says Dr. Rutledge. “If your boyfriend ‘likes’ a picture of an attractive girl, do you feel jealous? Does your boyfriend view your selfies as looking for other guys, intimating that he is ‘not enough?’ Is there a way to find out if your posting bugs your significant other? Yes. Ask.”
Whether it’s comforting or not, the truth is that social media alone can’t ruin your relationship or make all your friends roll their eyes at your incessant humble bragging. Only you can do that.

Ugandan female singer and entertainer Mariam Ndagire has cautioned fellow singers Spice Diana, Nina Roz, Sheebah Karungi, Desire Luzinda against nudity.
Speaking about the state of Ugandan music, the actress, playwright, film director, and film producer said that all would be good if some of the artistes decided to be decent.
Mariam went on to say that thighs are not the ones that attract fans but the musical content.
‘The voice doesn’t come from the thighs that Sheebah and her friends are always showing off. I know you buy your own clothes but you need to cut it down a bit,’ she said.
It it then that the musician said that she is going to involve the ministry in charge to make sure that singers behave. ‘The government should rate the dress code and songs that are obscene should never see the light of day. They need to respect themselves. We are engaging the ministry in charge to handle this.’

Asked about the same a few months ago, Sheebah said that she is different from the person people see on stage. She also noted that she has a very likable personality and those who don’t know her on a personal level will never understand why she does what she does.
