Infinix Mobile recently introduced the Infinix Zero 4 Plus, a new smart-phone on the Ugandan market targeting mainly high-end Smartphone users.
The Infinix Zero 4 Plus is basically the type of phone whose features will leave every Smartphone enthusiast satisfied except for those that do not fancy big devices since it is nearly 6 inches.
Currently going for about Shs 1,050,000 /- in Uganda, We would say the price is fair because the device will give you an amazing Smartphone experience.
It was designed with 5.98 inch display, 4G LTE support, 64GB internal storage, 4GB RAM, Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), 20.7MP Back Camera, 13MP Front Camera and 4000mAh battery.
What we liked:
Design: The Infinix Zero 4 Plus was given a unique design with an aluminium body, which is smooth and feels good to hold.
Software: The Infinix Zero 4 Plus runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the interface of XOS Chameleon 2.1.0. The good news from Infinix is that the android version of th Zero 4 Plus is upgrade-able to the Android 7.0 Nougat version.
It also has an amazing feature called the ‘Multi Account”, which enables users to log into a different account on installed apps like Facebook or Instagram without having to log out the initial account.
Memory: The device has 64GB internal memory and supports a micro-SD card, which can expand memory up to 128GB. This will allow you to install all your favorite apps and store very many files like music, pictures and videos.
Camera: The Infinix Zero 4 Plus will give you a great photography experience with its 20.7MP back camera and a duo LED flash light, which has laser focus and supports optical image stablization. Its front camera has a 13MP lens and also has a flash.
Fingerprint sensor: The Infinix Zero 4 Plus comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back, which allows users to scan their fingerprints to unlock the phone. This makes the phone more secure since only the owner’s fingerprint can unlock it.
Battery life: The Infinix Zero 4 Plus comes with a 4000mAh in-biult battery. The battery lasts up to 12 hours of active usage before you have to charge again.
The Smartphone also supports Infinix quick charge technology known as the “X-Charge”.
What we didn’t like:
Dual-SIM Tray: The device has a dual-SIM tray for 2 SIM-cards and a microSD card on the left. The tray can be accessed by pushing the tiny hole inside using the ejector pin. This means that one would have to move with an injector pin everywhere they go or else they will not be able to remove or insert a new sim-card.
Also in case the tray gets lost, one would have the trouble to get a new one, which may not be easily got.
Brightness Adjustment: Many smartphone users prefer to use adjust brightness automatically but one thing we noticed is that the Infinix Zero 4 Plus does not have an automatic brightness adjustment so users have to adjust the brightness manually.
Non-removable battery: The Infinix Zero 4 Plus has a non-removable battery and yet many people prefer the option of removing batteries from their phones or at least knowing they can be able to. Removable batteries can easily be replaced.
Size: The Infinix Zero 4 plus is Nearly 6 inches, making it difficult to hold with one hand and have prove to be an inconvenience when for instance one is hanging out at the beach or in a nightclub. It can hardly fit in average trouser pockets and it could easy fall or be snatched by thieves.
