A new reality TV show about upcoming models and designers in the fashion industry in Uganda has been launched on NBS Television.
Dubbed “Runway Heat,” the show will showcase gifted, talented upcoming models and designers who have been lacking funding, opportunity and struggling in the industry.
“Runway Heat is a reality TV show that will elevate fashion industry by showcasing talented, neglected and upcoming models and designers. It is a competition that will run from April to October this year with prominent and experienced judges like Miss Uganda CEO Brenda Nanyonjo, top model scout Joram Muzira, top designer Anita Beryl and others”, said Flosha Shaka, the host and producer of the show.
She also added that the overall winner will walk away with prizes like a car from KIA Motors one of their partners and sponsors while others will get endorsement deals with big companies.
Runway Heat show is produced by Royal Essence Media, in partnership with NBS Television and ODD Concepts with KIA Motors. The show has 24 episodes that will air on NBS Television every Thursday at 8pm with a repeat show on Sunday 11pm.
