It is perhaps not hard for a comedian to go on stage and do one hour and forty five minutes of comedy content but it take a good and funny comedian to make the crowd laugh for all that time on stage.

Standup comedian Dr Hilary Okello at his first ever comedy show dubbed Laugh at my People made the crowd laugh from when he got on stage to the end of the show where he got a standing ovation.
Dr Hilary has been on several shows ever since he joined the comedy industry in 2016 but on Friday last week, he was on his own show, a show he organised for himself for the first time ever.
National theatre auditorium was packed to the brim as Dr Hilary did his thing. The show kicked off earlier but Hilary got on stage at 9pm. Earlier in the program, the show was curtain raised with Gozando, an upcoming reggae artiste and Chris Bahizi a guitarist.

A young girl known as Kaabu also took to the stage and did her thing before Evlis Faki and Mudhaasi, both comedians came in to close the curtain raising sessions.
The show was directed by Achura Frederick of Atonga Media and produced by Mark Gordon.
