Kampala City was brought to standstill on Friday, December 11, 2021 as the 10th edition of the HiPipo Music Awards came about at Mestil Hotel.
It was the night that 2021 fast-rising stars, Martha Mukisa and Liam Voice cruised with stardom as they won their first accolades of their music careers.

Out of the 9 collective number of categories this year; Martha Mukisa’s banger “Sango” featuring Eddy Kenzo bagged the ‘Song of the year’ award and Liam Voice won the ‘Breakthrough Artist’ trophy.

Like it was in 2020, HiPipo music awards season 10 was virtual on Facebook and YouTube owing to the Covid19 restrictions in Uganda.
However, the awards did see the winners, a few guests, performers and brand partners attend physically.
Some of the key performances that lit-up the day were delivered by; Liam Voice, Levixone, Afrigo Band, and many more.

East Africa Super Hit – Pakuchena by Natacha Burundi

Digital Music Queen of the Decade Award – Sheebah Karungi
Africa Number 1 Award – Eddy Kenzo
The Breakthrough Artist – Liam Voice
