Ugandan couturier Sheba Kassami launched her latest collection last evening, at the Hive Hotel, in Buziga.
The collection that was dubbed the “Morphing Butterflies collection” is the first collection being showcased from the Ugandan fashion house in over 2 years and definitely brought all the glam and pomp to the runway.
The showcase opened with a kaftan collection that saw the models walk down the runway in pastel-coloured pieces, with Ankara prints, a signature clothing of the unisex fashion brand, that also doubles as a bridal wear couturier.
The second showcase featured an array of gowns, and men’s matching pieces, which perfectly reflected the show’s “Morphing Butterflies” theme. The collection featured a lot of ready to wear, as well as high end fashion pieces.
While speaking at the showcase, SKP Clothing line CEO, Sheba Kassami expressed her joy at the unveiling of the collection., something she said wouldn’t have been possible without the support of her great team., family and friends.
“Special thanks goes to my tailoring team, everyone at SKP Clothing and my family. You are the reason this great work has been possible and is being showcases here today,” Sheba explained.
The show, which also doubled as the official launch for the Hive Hotel was proudly sponsored by Fezabu Beauty Parlour, Get Quick, and Silk Medical.
