The Inspectorate General of Government (IGG) has ordered singer cum politician, Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu aka Bobi Wine to declare his brand-new vehicle before March 31.

Speaking to the media, the director for the leadership code at the Inspectorate of Government, Annet Twine, said that all leaders will have to declare their assets, income, and liabilities by March 1.
She revealed that the declaration of all assets like gifts and donations is a new approach established to fight corruption in Uganda.
The IGG last week confirmed that this year’s actual declaration of wealth by leaders will be effective from March 1 to March 31.
Whilst Bobi Wine’s contest for government office didn’t succeed, the National Unity Platform (NUP) President is required to declare his wealth by the mere fact that he is still an MP up to May.
A self-registration module has been established and this will enable leaders who are declaring for the first time to register themselves into the system.
Bobi Wine, last week unveiled his brand-new armored SUV and Cruiser V8, registered UBJ 667F, worth over Ugx. 1b.
