Davido is expecting baby number two! At least, we think he is the father of the child his Atlanta-based girlfriend, Amanda also known as Mandy, is carrying.

The 24-year-old student of Georgia State University was born to Cape Verdean and Togolese parents.

The Net reports that Mandy’s baby will be due in April or May this year.

According to the reports, Davido is currently visiting with his second babymama-to-be in Atlanta.

The pair were spotted at a bowling joint on Tuesday, March 6, 2017, in the company of the music star’s older brother, Adewale Adeleke.

Davido already shares a baby girl with Sophie Momodu, Imade, who will be turning two on May 14, 2017.

The nature of the relationship between Davido and Mandy remains unclear as he is yet to publicly confirm it.

Ugandans joined the rest of the world on Wednesday to celebrate the International Women’s Day under the theme, “Be bold for change.”

Beer giant Uganda Breweries on that day held a party for their female staff to not only celebrate their contribution at work but also acknowledge their importance at the workplace. The brewery also officially opened a mother’s comfort room, a space where mothers back from maternity leave can get away from the work madness and tender to their babies nursing needs.

According to Rhona Arinaitwe, the communications Manager, the party was meant to celebrate the extra ordinary role they all play in a male dominated industry. It was a tribute for all the hard work and tremendous jobs that make the female employees part of the team.

“At the heart of our value preposition is our deliberate effort towards pushing for diversity at Uganda Breweries. One of the interventions is place, is the spirited women programme that aims at bringing all UBL women together to discuss and tackle issues that affect them in their careers and personal life. The programme allows for Mentorships, counselling, spiritual and life coaching for the UBL women.” She said.

“We are proud that 30% of the management positions are filled by women and we continue to see growth in more females taking up leadership positions. “She added.

Including the men to the table to discuss issues that affect women, each female employee was urged to bring a male college as a date; who were tasked to share their experiences of women that have positively impacted them in the work place.

Clad in “spirited women” t-shirts, the UBL women along with their dates hit the UBL rooftop bar. The party was lit with lots of Nyama choma, music and a flow of cocktails mixed by Uganda’s top Female mixologist who raised the bar and left everyone astounded.

A number of activities and games were done during the event with lot of prizes given away and the night was crowned off with karaoke and a dance battle.

When it comes to having a love that continuously goes unreciprocated, it feels like you are a victim of a perpetual black hole. You pour your energy in, but nothing ever comes out of it. 1. Out-of-the-blue appearances

Though he may have the decency to ask you over a text message about what your plans are tonight, regardless of how fast you respond, he takes forever. So you are left wondering what is actually happening or if you may wind up spending the evening with him. Instead of just carrying on the day as you would normally, you try to forgo meals (just in case of dinner) and check your phone every 5 minutes.

If he cared, he would respond within a reasonable time or at least give a reason for why he had contacted you in first place. Last minute requests may be pleasant at first, but treat them with caution.

2. I-need-something-from-you calls

Some friends do this too. They call you for help with moving everything out of their apartment but when you need similar assistance, suddenly everyone takes to the hills. If you find him calling up, asking for a partner to a family dinner or someone to take him to the garage to pick up his car, be wary if he has never done the same for you.

When these needful requests go without reciprocation, it merely translates into, “You are the only viable human option right now, so please?” Also, this counts towards him disappearing whenever you need help too. You would never bail on him, but he does it routinely to you. Learn to say no, honey. You will see how quickly he disappears.

3. A lack of give-and-take

Good relationships, whether romantic or platonic, are built on give-and-take. If conversations are one-sided, such as what he did or did not do, who aggravated him that day, or about past heartbreaks, woes, and other problems without once ever asking you for perspectives or anecdotes, this is not healthy.

Someone who cares about you and your thoughts will let you speak once in a while about yourself without flipping things back on themselves. Guys who constantly speak highly of themselves but put others down, including ex-girlfriends, are narcissistic. You will never be more than an accessory.

4. Everyone knows what is up before you

1. “Well, Julie’s husband…”

Comparing your significant other to another person is always a horrible idea, especially over text. If you are dissatisfied with your relationship, share your feelings and have a discussion – in person. Don’t leave room for misinterpretation over text.

2. “Where have you been?”

When sent over text, your partner will instantly get defensive and wonder if you don’t trust him or her. Even if you meant it to be a casual question, you can’t tell how it will be interpreted. Instead, text “Is everything OK? You are later than normal” if you need to know what’s up.

3. “Can’t talk right now. Out with the guys/girls.”

But what if it’s an emergency? Your partner will feel like your friendships are more important to you than she or he is. 9. “Why are you so upset?”

You never want to start an argument via text. If you think your partner is upset, call them or talk in person. Arguments over text never end well especially when discussing a touchy topic. It’s best to do this face-to-face.

1. I’m going to be a dad! Add exclamation points as necessary to denote the proper amount of enthusiasm. Finding out you’re going to be a parent is immediately exciting. Your chest swells with pride. You get a weird, heady buzz. Eventually… maybe it’s minutes or hours or days… that euphoria gives way to blinding panic and harsh reality. And then the euphoria comes back. And then the panic pops up again, and then it’s a weird mix of both, forever. Becoming a parent is agreeing to live in a constant state of happiness and anxiety.

2. I am now and forever responsible for another human being. This is incredibly sobering. This isn’t babysitting, or watching your sister’s kid overnight. No one shows up to take the baby away in the morning. And you don’t just have to watch it and make sure it doesn’t die. That’d be pretty easy. You have to shape this tiny human and hope that you don’t front load it with all the weird problems and prejudices and goals you’ve picked up along the way.

3. This will be an incredible journey. It’s hard not to start reflecting on what life will be like moving forward. You start daydreaming about playing catch, or teaching them how to ride a bike. And then you remember that newborns can’t even lift their head and their skulls are so soft they’re actually malleable. And then you ask your wife how long it will be until the baby can actually hang out and do cool stuff and she gets mad.

4. OK, well, there goes having fun, maybe. A lot of parents will stare at you with dead eyes and tell you this will be really hard, not to mention physically and emotionally draining. And you won’t believe them because like, come on. And you’ll constantly think of ways to make sure you don’t lose out on seeing your friends or having hobbies and you’ll be very confident that they will work. Only time will tell, though.

5. Am I going to turn into one of those parents who’s obsessed with their kid? This is a very real fear. So many parents have a kid pop out, and the second the sight of that little goop-covered raisin face floods their brains with dopamine, they’re just gone. It’s like a parasite took over. They’re posting pictures of the kid doing literally nothing interesting, or constantly filling you in on the kid’s life instead of their own. And you wonder, “What broke them?”

6. How do I tell everyone? There’s no real etiquette when it comes to revealing a pregnancy. Should you tell everyone individually? Do people really care? Should you just take a photo at Sears and jack up the brightness and throw a lens flair in and post it to Facebook with some hastily made text thrown over it? What is the right path to take?

7. Is this what my parents were like? You realize how old your parents were when they had you, and maybe even what their mindset was like. And you can’t believe they ever decided to have you.

8. WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO THE BABY? You start to get really worried and invested, even if you haven’t even felt him kick yet.

9. What if my baby is shitty? Personally, I’m OK if my kid turns out to be nerdy or goofy or a loner. But what if I wind up with a real piece of shit? What do I even do?

10. I wonder which time we had sex actually made the baby? You start counting back to figure out if the time you conceived was the time you made love for hours under the covers, or if it was the time you hastily banged one out right before you met your friends for brunch. The Chinese Business Community in Uganda led by the China Enterprises Chambers of Commerce has today donated a basketball court and scholastic materials to Luyanzi College School in Bweyogerere to develop education and physical growth of Children in Uganda.

The Chambers of Commerce donated textbooks worth 15 million Uganda Shillings and together with its member enterprises like China Communications Construction Company, Huawei, China Railway Seventh Group, China Railway No.3 Engineering Group and Hima Cement donated a basketball court.

Mr. Zheng a representative from the China Enterprise Chamber of Commerce commended the Chinese business communities for their effort of ensuring Uganda Children are have better education and physical growth.

He also noted the need to educate Children because they are the hope of nations.

The Basketball court inauguration ceremony was led by the State Minister of Sports Hon Charles Bakkabulindi who also commended the School administration for bringing China closer to Uganda by teaching the Chinese language to Ugandan students.

“This will simplify our work as government and save time for Ugandan students who will have to first study Chinese during their scholarships in China,” he said.

The Chinese Ambassador H.E Zheng Zhuqiang who was also the Chief Guest appreciated the generous donation made by the China Enterprise Chamber of Commerce and its member companies. He noted that this donation is a boost to school’s teaching facilities and a healthy education environment.

Scholarships and other materials were also donated by Hua Yuan group, Wu Yi group, Chinese Supermarket group, Hisense and Tian Tang group respectively.

Airtel Uganda has handed over the Kabaka Run marathon kits to the Buganda Kingdom at a press conference that was held at the Buganda Kingdom offices in Mengo.

The handover was graced by Buganda Kingdom officials led by the Buganda Kingdom Prime Minister Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga and the Buganda Kingdom Minister of Sports Owek. Sekabembe Henry, alongside Airtel Uganda directors and staff members led by the Airtel Uganda Managing Director Mr. Anwar Soussa.

During the handover, the Airtel Uganda Managing Director Mr. Anwar Soussa urged all Airtel Uganda customers as well as the general public to show support to those suffering from sickle cells by coming and registering for the Kabaka Run.

“I would like to pledge our future commitment and support to the Buganda Kingdom, its people and its activities, as we unite to maintain the good glory of this Kingdom,” he added.

No matter how confident a guy is in other areas of life, one of the most common dating fears is that women  will think he’s bad in bed. 4. Bad Touching

This is one of the top complaints women have about men regarding foreplay and s*x. It’s something that even many experienced guys get totally, horribly wrong. Emily, 28, explains that she “has to like the way his casual touch feels. If I unconsciously tense up and pull away from his touch, I listen to my body. Also, if he touches me too much or not enough, I can tell he won’t know how to please me when things get more intimate.”

Fix it: Your touch should be natural, and escalate from friendly to something more over time. 5. Lack of Adventure

1. She says she’s not looking for anything serious. This isn’t always so obvious. Teso College Aloet from Soroti district has been crowned Eastern regional winner of the ‘Stanbic National Schools Championship’ for 2017. They beat off stiff competition from four other schools and will now represent the region at the Grand finale set to be held in Kampala on the 29 the of April 2017.

Congratulating the team from Teso College Aloet at the prize giving ceremony held at Mbale Secondary School, Samuel Ocanya, Stanbic Bank Regional Manager – Eastern said, “This is a fantastic achievement for Teso College Aloet and I am certain they are truly proud that they are reached this stage of the competition. It has not been easy given the level of preparation required and quality of the schools.”

The regional quiz competitions are the third stage in National Championship School which started with classroom competitions and an essay challenge in February; held in each of Uganda’s four regions the students are tested in a team quiz format on financial literacy, life skills, logical thinking and general knowledge.

Giving an update on the progress of the competition so far Cathy Adengo, Head of CSI and Communications said that the bank was very happy with progress of the programme and pleased to see the amazing talent from across the country. “The level of enthusiasm and support from the students has been incredible and we are pleased that this competition moving on to the next level that will show us the greatest minds in the country.”

Speaking about the next stage of the competition Martin Muhwezi, the Programme Director of the implementing partner revealed, “The teams who make it to the Grand finale are expected to develop and run a bank simulation project over a one month period. At the end of the month they each make presentations before a panel of judges on their project. The team deemed by the Judges to have conducted the best project wins the grand prize which is a fully paid trip to South Africa for the two team mates and their patron teacher plus lunch with the Chief Executive of Stanbic Bank.”

40 schools and 4,000 students have taken part in this year’s competition; these include both Government and Private Schools chosen with due consideration by Stanbic Bank’s partners in the Championship the Ministry of Education and Sports.

Crowds gathered to see the newly updated signature Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge, making its first public appearance during ITB Berlin 2017 since the product was announced recently.

The enhanced A380 Onboard Lounge, part of the airline’s multi-million dollar cabin interiors upgrade programme with seating areas having a table and window view.

The spectacular Emirates stand, which first celebrated its world premiere at ITB Berlin 2016, again provided an opportunity to see first-hand some of the airline’s signature onboard features. In addition to the A380 Onboard Lounge Emirates displayed a life-size model of a First Class Private Suite, Business Class seat and generous Economy Class seats. To the side of the stand, another signature A380 onboard product impressed visitors: a First Class Shower Spa unit equipped with a working shower and underfloor heating.

It was an exciting and fun-filled Sunday night as the housemates in the on-going Big Brother Naija reality TV show rose to lend their voices to the campaign for girl-child education. The live show was also spiced by former Big Brother Africa housemate, Tayo Faniran who treated the guests to his new single, ‘No calling and Dakun.’

The highlight of the night was when Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the show host took on the housemates intermittently on romantic intrigues in the house. When Ebuka challenged Bisola over her intimacy with ThinTallTony, the starry-eyed Bisola did not deny her affection for the latter saying that it is a mutual thing.
She openly stated, “I like ThinTallTony very much… I’m comfortable with him,” adding that unlike Bally, he reciprocates her feeling. It has been a rough couple of days for Tanzanian music sensation, Vanessa Mdee. The cash madame hit-maker was arrested by Tanzanian police for allegedly being involved in drug abuse and trafficking.

After Mdee’s arrest her restless fans and celebrity friends immediately begun agitating for the singer’s release on social media.

It seems their voices were heard since the singer has finally been released on bail after spending 5 days in police custody. Tanzanian journalist, Millard Ayo, broke the news late last evening.

The joy and relief of the Tanzanian sensation’s release seems be a short lived one since Vanessa is still under investigation by the police. According to Bongo 5, she is required to report back to the station this Wednesday.
